Registration Link: http://short.gardnerweb.com/0ALEr9Mu EVENT DESCRIPTION: Short fber reinforced plastic materials are commonly used for their strength and weight benefts, as well as their ability to be manufactured quickly. In order to complete an accurate structural simulation of a short fber reinforced plastic part, the as-manufactured material properties need to be accounted for. Without including data such as fber orientations and residual stresses/strains, the structural simulation results will not match the performance of the actual manufactured part. Learn how the as-manufac- tured material from Autodesk® Moldfow® can be used with Autodesk® Helius PFA to complete an accurate nonlinear structural simulation. PARTICIPANTS WILL LEARN: · Determining fber orientations with Autodesk Moldfow · Nonlinear material behavior of as-manufactured materials · Mapping as-manufactured properties for structural simulation · Completing structural simulations of fber reinforced plastic parts Predicting strength of fber-flled components using Moldfow® and Helius PFA REGISTER TODAY FOR WEBINAR AT: DATE AND TIME: October 13, 2015 • 2:00 PM EST PRESENTER PRESENTED BY autodesk.com DAN MILLIGAN Technical Specialist
